GROS Sp. z o.o protects the privacy of users of its websites. This Privacy Policy contains the basic principles for protecting the privacy of users of the www.gros.pl website (the "Website").

Data collection

Through the Website, GROS Sp. z o.o. may collect various types of information about you, including the following data:

Identification data sent by the user. Based on the consent of the user of the Website, GROS Sp. z o.o. may collect data, including personal data sent by the user, enabling the identification of the user, such as e-mail address, name, surname, address of residence, or other similar information ("User Data"). The provision of such data is voluntary. The places on the Website where data is collected are clearly indicated.

Web server logs

Like the vast majority of website administrators, GROS Sp. z o.o. automatically collects web server logs when a user visits the Website using the computer on which the Website is installed (referred to as the "web server"). The web server automatically recognises certain information, such as your IP address (see also below), the date and location of your visit to the Website, the pages you visited on the Website, the website from which you accessed the Website, the type of browser you are using (e.g. Google Chrome), the type of operating system you are using (e.g. Windows 11) and the domain name and address of your website operator (e.g. AOL). If the Website uses cookies (as referred to below), the web server will also record this information. GROS Sp. z o.o. frequently reviews server logs in order to determine which pages are most frequently visited. This is done in order to gain a better understanding of how our visitors use the Website. This practice, commonly referred to as Web Statistics, enables GROS Sp. z o.o. to maintain and improve the Website. In addition, in the event of abuse of the system, we may use the above information in conjunction with the serving website operator and local authorities to target the source of the abuse.

IP addresses

GROS Sp. z o.o. may collect information about your IP address. An IP address is a number assigned to a user's computer by the operator of the website to enable the user to access the Internet. Normally, the IP address changes each time the user connects to the Internet (this is known as a "dynamic" address). However, please note that in some circumstances, in the case of a broadband connection, it is possible that the IP address of the user obtained by us or even the cookie we use will contain information that identifies the user. This is because, in the case of some broadband connections, your IP address does not change (remains "static") and could be associated with your personal computer. IP addresses are used as part of the information contained in the web server logs described above.

The Website currently uses a technology called a "cookie". A cookie is a piece of information that our web server sends to your computer (actually your browser file) when you access the Website. This section of the Privacy Policy describes the use of cookies related to your use of the Website, tells you how to find cookies on your computer and how to change your privacy settings to restrict the use of cookies. Please note that restricting the use of cookies may affect the extent of your use of the Website and may prevent you from accessing the Website (and other websites). GROS Sp. z o.o. currently uses or may in the future use the following cookies on the Website:

  • Session cookies. As you use the Site, our system must frequently recall your stored technical data as you move through the pages. We use this technical data in a number of ways to improve your use of the Website. This file does not contain any data that identifies you personally (it does not contain personal data) and only exists until your session ends and you leave the Website.
  • Login and reuse file. When a user logs in to a restricted area, we may install a cookie on the user's computer to remember the user's login details. These may be used for the user's convenience to avoid the need to provide full information again the next time the user logs in. This file remains on your computer indefinitely, even after you leave the Website.

GROS Sp. z o.o. does not allow third parties to install cookies on your computer via the Website, unless the cookies are installed at our request and under our direct control, and third parties do not have access to or the ability to use them, except as provided in this Privacy Policy.

There are different methods for viewing and deleting cookies installed on your computer, depending on the type of browser you use.
