Depending on the chosen version, this door is a perfect match for places like car workshops, car showrooms, car washes, logistic centres or underground garages.

Functionality
If good visibility is required in your place of work, a glazed door is the right choice for you. This model guarantees a steady flow of sunlight, for example to a car workshop.
However, if good ventilation is required in your facility, the ventilation door is the best choice for you. This model guarantees a proper flow of fresh air, for example to the underground garage.
Comfort
The PPA industrial aluminium door can be operated manually or automatically. Regardless of your choice, the operation of this model is easy and effortless. Manual opening is possible thanks to the chain hoist, and the automatic opening is based on high quality drives, such as GFA Elektromaten or Sommer.
Protection
Risk of failure in this door is minimized, for example by protection against the curtain falling in the case of a spring or cable breakage. The door can be equipped with edge protection or optical curtains. It is certified according to all required regulations. Thanks to the additional locks, bolts and anti-burglar plates, these doors provide proper building protection.

Types of industrial aluminium door
PAP
The whole PAP door is composed of aluminium panels (aluminium without a thermal barrier), filled with a double glazed polystyrene or acrylic window. As standard the panels are silver (anode).
PBP
The whole PBP door is composed of aluminium panels (aluminium without a thermal barrier), filled with single, perforated steel sheets with 67% clearance (square perforation). As standard the panels are silver.
PPS
The PPS door is composed of a sectional panel (bottom) and aluminium panels (aluminium without a thermal barrier). The PDS (Industrial multi-line stucco) panel, 40 mm thick, is chosen according to the door height. The panel walls are made of galvanised and coated steel sheets. The panel has a stucco structure on the inner and outer surface. From the outside the panel is coated in one of 12 basic colours. Other panels filled with a double glazed polystyrene or acrylic window.
PAI
The whole PPS door is composed of aluminium panels (aluminium without a thermal barrier). The bottom panel is filled with an insulating panel (aluminium sheet-polystyrene-aluminium sheet). The bottom panel has a smooth structure on the inner and outer surface and is coated in a colour similar to RAL 9006. It can also be coated in any RAL palette colour. Other panels filled with a double glazed polystyrene or acrylic window.
PAW
The whole PAW door is composed of aluminium panels (aluminium without a thermal barrier). The bottom panel is filled with single, galvanised perforated steel sheets with 67% clearance (square perforation). The bottom panel on the inner and outer surface is coated in a colour RAL 9006. It can also be coated in any RAL palette colour. Other panels filled with a double glazed polystyrene or acrylic window.

Parameters and Technical Description
Two types of PPA industrial aluminium doors are available:
a) PAP glazed door – the entire PAP door is composed of aluminium panels filled with double glazed acrylic windows. As standard the panels are silver (anode); as an extra cost option any RAL palette colour coating (except for metallic colours) is available.
Additionally, the bottom glazed panel in a PAP door may be replaced by:
- Sectional panel (PPS door) – the bottom 40 mm thick panel filled with polyurethane foam.
- Insulation panel (PAI door) – the bottom aluminium panel filled with 20 mm thick polystyrene core.
- Ventilation panel (PAW door) – the bottom aluminium panel filled with single galvanised steel sheet with square perforation of 67% clearance.
b) PBP ventilation door – the entire PBP door is composed of aluminium panels, filled with a single galvanised steel sheet with square perforation of 67% clearance. The PPA industrial aluminium door panel is constructed of 40 mm thick aluminium panels, chosen according to the door height. The door opens vertically, leaving an open space inside, as well as outside of the building. Stable door support construction is made of vertical and horizontal 2 mm thick tracks with steel fittings. Shot peened torsion springs for min. 25,000 lifecycle uses. The entire door perimeter is protected by durable seals. This model is produced according to custom dimensions.
